Danish open sandwiches - "Smørrebrød" – is slices of rye bread with different traditional toppings. This is the typical Danish lunch, although the smørrebrød eaten at home is the less decorated version.

The smørrebrød here is great. Really great. This is not modern, but classic smørrebrød that many people are used to - therefore a great way of exploring the field of Danish cuisine.
