The Kilkenny Castle Parkland boasts both formal and informal gardens. Set in Kilkenny City, the estate overlooks the Nore River and includes mature trees and shrubs as well as an ornamental lake. All areas are free of charge.

Lovely park with children’s play area and duck pond. Cut down to the river walk if you’re feeling energetic. You can walk all the way to Bennettsbridge.

Kilkenny 30mins drive - Really lovely parklands in the heart of Kilkenny City. Enjoyable 2.5km marked pathway around the Castle Park grounds surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. Fabulous play park to keep the wee ones entertained for hours!
