This is our favourite place to do a big grocery shop if we are staying for a few days.

This is a large supermarket about 20 minutes drive from the chalet. Here you can stock up on all your provisions - though purchasing in France or Germany before crossing into Switzerland is a cheaper option! The village shop in La Tzoumaz has all the basics but the range is limited.
