One of the last vestiges of the Wakefield Steam Train line that carried visitors from Ottawa to Wakefield. The steam engine and train cars were unfortunately sold for scrap metal a few years ago. Now only the turntable, water tank, a converted train station and some track remain but it makes for a pretty little walk through Wakefield. Along or near the tracks, there are several pleasant places to access the river.
