Sailing is very popular in Portland and the sail boats are out most days in the spring, summer and autumn.

You won't find a restaurant at this quaint little dinghy-only sailing club, but you will find excellent sailing lessons. It has a laid back atmosphere. Benches on the bluff which overlook the river.
