Amazing Convento ruin overlooking the town of Monchique, a steep but worthwhile walk of about 10 minutes through the ancient cork trees leads you to this amazing building, its even possible to have a peak inside from an un official caretaker.

Nice stroll through the old oak tree forest and after the visit of the Convento Nossa it is either nice to walk back into the town of Monchique or to start to walk the "Via Algarviana Hiking Trail" up to the top of the Algarve "Foia"
