Just a short walk or drive (parking available), the Paddle Shed has an array of water craft for hire at safe Portmellon Beach. Snacks and coffee at the adjacent Shack, something stronger at the Rising Sun pub next door (great also for a pint overlooking the beach in the evenings!).

Just up and over the hill Portmellon has a beach, pub and a coffee shack offering homemade pasties, quiches, sausage rolls and great coffee. check out the paddle shed for rentals.
