Approx 11 miles of mostly country roads driving. While Gladys Russell is a wildlife preserve with excellent opportunities for bird watching and photography, it also offers a number of low intensity uses including hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, and fishing. Water and sanitary facilities have been added, making activities by larger groups, such as family reunions and educational field trips, possible. Central to the preserve is a substantial lake that has been stocked with Bass, Catfish and Bluegill. Bird houses and duck boxes are in place to draw nesting pairs. This park can be found at 13364 White Plains Road.
