Lakeview Park in Vernon is home to the "Peanut Pool" wading pool as well as a playground. An enjoyable summer place for families with children. Lakeview Park has recently been renovated and a splash pad has been added.

Lovingly referred to as "The Peanut Pool" due to the peanut-shape of the original pool, this newly rebuilt outdoor pool located in Vernon's East Hill neighbourhood is great for kids and kids-at-heart. There is also a splash pad, large playground, field and baseball diamonds attached to this park as well. Street parking is free.
