Another trailhead to consider closer to cabin is the Benton Trail. Off tunnel stream rd and tunnel brook rd if the gate is open on the forestry rd to trailhead. Trail is less congested.

Check out Mt. Moosilauke! Hike a New Hampshire 4000 footer. It is well hiked and has many visitors but it is a intermediate hike! Go prepared.
