This is a State Beach and it never gets crowded. You can walk on the beach all the way down to Imperial Beach, have breakfast, and then walk back without meeting more than a handful of people. It's a 3 mile walk/run to Imperial beach.

Beach strip bordered by ocean on one side and bay on the other. A long, uncrowded beach great for walking that also has a long bikeway parallel to CA 75.

Another fine beach. State Park charges a day use fee at entrance. Parking much more plentiful here with lots. Arrive around 10 also.

With the Pacific on one side and the San Diego Bay on the other, this State beach has camping and public rest rooms. Come and watch the kite surfers, and kites flying over the ocean. Such sunsets!!
