Cabbage Key is a small island located off of Pine Island, accessible only by boat. Famous for its dollar bill bar, burgers and the cabbage creeper drink. Legend says that leaving the dollar bill on the wall tradition was started by local fishermen. After docking at cabbage key they’d write their names on the bill and tape it to the wall in case they didn’t have enough money to buy food & drinks the next time they came by. Now people from all over the world come and hang bills. Every year cabbage key donates all of the fallen bills to local charities, typically around $20,000.

A unique little Restaurant with delicious food. The interior is with the travel. Perfect place for a little hike as well. Get there by boat only. Boat Rental and Water Taxi available on Pine Island.

A classic landmark burger joint on an island only accessible by boat (about a 10 mile boat ride.) Jimmy Buffet wrote "Cheeseburger in Paradise" about this restaurant. (Many places try to claim that, but this one is the real deal!) You go for the experience, not the food.
