Kelly's Ford is the perfect spot to enjoy paddling in Culpeper County. Their property is located along the Rappahannock River, which is officially designated as a state scenic river. The Rappahannock River is popular for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing, not only for its beauty but also for its variety of waters. The canoeing/kayaking experiences range from a short two-mile flat water run to a 4-mile run with Class I and II rapids along the way depending on the time of year. If you are looking for a nice easy ride along a beautiful tree lined river or a more challenging ride on Class II rapids, the Rappahannock River is the place to be. For diversified experiences, we also provide canoeing/kayaking on Mountain Run, water level conditions permitting. The Canoeing/Kayaking Season Starts April 15th and ends October 31st.
