Kayak cove to cove, walk the beaches, hike trails and bike the mountains. In town, you'll find a few local shops to get groceries, a handful of restaurants, an abundance of artists and native crafts, a few tour/fishing guide outfits and others that offer kayaking or atv tours to Red Mountain and beyond. Seldovia is a gem among small Alaskan fishing towns. While off the beaten path, it is less than an hour via ferry from Homer, and even quicker by plane. You can walk from one end to the other in about five minutes and and realize it is a story-book setting that has something special to offer travelers.
