Entertainment & Activities
Klang island is a muslim mangrove island. At this island you can see typical rice paddies, buffalo, crab and shrimp fields. Klang Island is the only one island in Thailand that is promoted for biking. There are no cars, only motorbikes and bicycles. You can rent mountain bikes from the hostel. From nearby Thara Park you can take a taxi boat for the short trip across to the island (20-40 baht per person with a bike) Once you have disembarked, prepare for a totally chilled out (ie. flat!) cruise around Klang Town. There is a fish farm with a great restaurant about 2 km from the pier.
