One of the lesser known beaches up this end of town so it's not so over crowded but is definitely one of the best. We're about 30-40 minute walk away or 5-10 minutes by car.

You can get the 155 bus from the mall into Manly in about 20 mins.
From there maybe you'd like to get the ferry over to the city or just have a look around the shops or check out famous Manly beach.
