This is our favorite place for a quiet beach day and is the closest picturesque beach to the Beecomb.
Just as beautiful as Cavendish but closer to Charlottetown and less busy. Also, no rocks on the shoreline makes it much nicer for the kids to wade in.

This is our FAVORITE beach and a must if you are traveling by with kids! Also known as the singing sands, it’s not only beautiful, it’s also great fun! Enjoy hours of fun by jumping off the bridge and floating out to the sea. We recommend bringing life jackets for the younger kids.

Basin Head Provincial Park

A must see- Many attractions for kids- rides, mini-putt, etc and most importantly the Anne of Green Gables museum.
The beach is also beautiful, just busier than the rest.
Cavendish has many activities including rides, mini putting, and great food.
