Getting Around
Head out the flat, turn left and go straight out the main gate of Craigend Park onto Gilmerton Road; cross the road to the bus stop and hop on any of the buses that arrive there to get to the city centre. The 3, 8 and 29 take this route. It's £1.60 for an adult single fair, and that's what you ask for on the bus - this ticket will last you one journey. If you're going to be on more than two buses throughout the day you should ask for a day ticket - this will cost around £5.

A hidden gem - worth the distance if you're after great seasonal produce. Mostly organic fruit and vegetables and other groceries. Good stock of wines and beers too, as well as coffee, fresh bread, cheeses etc.
