It’s a world heritage site and utterly amazing if you consider the stones came from Wales! Masses of history and ancient myths surround the stones and relatively new visitors centre has a good shop and cafe

This is a great place to get details of events and book things. Guided tours etc. Helpful staff who know exactly what’s going on. It’s found in Fish Row behind the big old council building (in Market Square)
