In the early 1900's up to 250 people a day would arrive by ferry to seek out the hotel's "pleasure gardens". The garden is looking pretty great right now but whatever constituted pleasure gardens back then, who knows.
Hotel grown tomatoes, cucumbers and corn, all organically grown onsite, complimenting their dishes now.
