Wonderful day trip or overnight - Catch a play at the American Players outdoor theater - ask at the box office if tickets don't seem available - they have a liberal exchange policy. Enjoy a float or kayak down the river and picnic on one of the many sand bars. Check out global view for many object from all over the east- you may even bump into a Tibetan monk making a mandala.
