For some scenic forest deriving or 4WD adventuring, mountain bike, mushroom gathering, or a short drive to the forest to stretch the legs, the Millionth Acre reserve is on the edge of the Oberon State Forest (which also borders The Cloud House). It's a great camping ground, however just past it, on Duckmaloi road you can turn into Oberon State Forest on Evans Road and drive through beautiful Alpine forests and go mushroom picking (in the right season). You can also access the forest through Old Bindo Road (see maps). To do this drive out of the property, turn sharp left into Old Bindo Road and follow it all the way to the forest. If you drive all the way up past the first forest plantations, up through some more Australian bush you’ll come to a large clearing in the forest where the trail heads for the MTB downhill tracks start. A sharp right takes you up to the top of Bindo mountain (you may need a 4wd for that part). Straight ahead through the clearing, then left will take you through the forest and down to the bottom where the MTb trails emerge. The trig station at the topmost peak of Bindo mountain is also a great view but you will need a 4WD to get there (or a dirt bike!).
