Neighbourhoods
Harvest Hills is a smaller Calgary neighborhood. We love it's diversity with a mix of retirees, families, and new immigrants. It's conveniently located close to the YYC airport, Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail. It's also conveniently close to Cross Iron Mills Mall, Vivo Rec Centre, Calgary Public Library, and many major stores.
One unique feature of our immediate neighborhood is Harvest Lake. It's a beautiful place to take a walk and there is always something to see. Goslings and ducklings in the spring, Canada geese in the fall, various fish and water bugs, snails, birds of prey. Please note that this is not a swimming or boating lake.
Each winter, the City floods an outdoor skating rink in Harvest Park just to the south of the lake. The Park also has hills that work well for sledding.
