Beach

One of the best beaches in Denmark. Claean and not very many people. Go straight from the house to the beach. If you want more shallow water (and fewer stones) go a few 100 meters ælfet on the beach.

Tranekær dates back to 1231 is situated on top of a hill. Visit the mill close by and have lunch in the adjacent restaurant located in the old renovated horse stables. Very good food!

The main city on the island. Old history and many shops and restaurants. Fun fact: H.C. Ørsted - who discovered the connection between electricity and magnetism - was born here.

Nice forest, with beach trees all the way to the see. This is where the danish national anthem "Der er et yndigt land" was written.
