Welcome to our cabin. A few things to remember: 1. The elevation is high. You may feel lethargic or a little tired, this is normal. Stay tuned into your body and don't push too hard. The combination of high altitude and the peaceful setting may make you just want to relax. 2. The elevation will make you dehydrated. Drink plenty of water, and then drink a little more. 3. You are in bear country. No need to be overly concerned, but do not leave food or trash outside or in your car. Make sure all trash is kept in the closed containers in the downstairs living room.

La Plata County is in Stage 2 Fire Restrictions due to the severe drought in the SW USA. No smoking, fireworks, or out-door fires are allowed anywhere in the County.
