Probably the best food in town. It is on the pricey side. Locally sourced ingredients. Next door is Tap 30, also a good spot - TONS of tap beer.

Okay, for real, this is probably our favorite spot. Brewery in an old house with the most amazing views of the lake. It’s owned by a family of artists, so there is likely to be live music at any given time. If you’re there at the right time, check out their gallery that’s just a walk away.

Hike the stairs to the top of the lookout over the lake or take the back trail through beautiful fields and tall, wooded canopies. If you're a disc-golfer, you'll find an amazing disc golf course here as well. In the winter time there is a public ice rink you can rent skates!

Ok, just a little down the road. But a great venue for concerts, yoga sessions, art & crafts, or just visiting the lavender fields.

So many great spots to just enjoy the lake. We’d recommend the Young State Park (nominal state park fee), Glenwood Beach, and Nelson Beach. All of which are a close drive to the town. If you’re just looking for a refreshing dip, there is a public access point a short walk from our house with a dock (it is not deep enough to dive off of, so we recommend jumping in or wading in). There is a little area for some chairs too, it’s also a boat launch, but not heavily used.

Great local company that rents kayaks to paddle the Boyne River. They’ll drop you off upstream and you’ll come out right in the heart of downtown.
