Welcome to Hickory House on the Bay! We hope this will be a little home-away-from-home and we hope you enjoy your time here. The neighborhood is called Calvert Beach and we are part of the Community - Long Beach by the Bay. The beach areas at Long Beach are some of the most spectacular of Maryland’s western shore. In addition to outstanding views, this part of the Chesapeake Bay boasts a boaters’ paradise and access to some of the best fishing spots. Calvert Cliffs provides beach goers with a trove of fossil finds. All residents of Long Beach and their guests have access to the beaches and the beach. The “Little Beach” or Calvert Beach is just one block away at the end of Hickory Road where it meets with Bay Side Road. The other beach is Long Beach Community Beach located at the beginning of Long Beach Drive.
