ZTL
Most of Bologna’s historic center (like most historic centers in Italy) is restricted from non-resident cars. When non-resident cars enter its restricted zone, fines will apply. Such a zone would be called ZTL and you will see signs indicating the starting points of ZTL on each street on its borders. The studio is on one of such streets. You can drive to the entrance of the buidling without entering the ZTL, but there is only one right route to do so. If you need, you can request a map from us indicating the route.

Places to park
Some non-ZTL parking places are: 1. Street parking along Via Riva di Reno. Keep in mind that it may take a long time before you find a spot. Once you are parked, you can self-pay by cash, card, or app, and it will take 1-7 minutes to walk to the studio. 2. In the underground garage Riva Reno (Via Azzo Gardino, 61b) if you don’t have time finding street parking. Walking time to the studio is 6 minutes. 3. If you need long-term or lower-rate parking, the nearest parking lot with a flat day rate is called Tanari. You can walk to the studio (15 minutes) or take a shuttle.

Best way to explore Bologna
When you are in Bologna the best way to explore the historic center is by foot. There are also shared bikes and e-bikes (Mobikes) around which you can rent by using an app called Movi.
