Great hiking trails and hunting
Hundreds of wildlife species exist in the Angelina National Forest. The Sawmill Hiking Trail is one that has been recommended to me. Principal game in the forest is deer, squirrel, wild turkey, woodcock, quail, dove and duck, and sportsmen can enjoy hunting and fishing in accordance with state game laws.

Fishing: This Park is famous for hosting multiple fishing tournaments every year. In addition to these competitions the park also has a large floating handicap accessible fishing pier that offers great fishing year-round. About a 30 min. drive
Biking: This park has just completed a 6.9 mile mountain bike trail that offers biking opportunities to everyone regardless of their biking experience. I have never tried it out but here is the website for anyone that is adventurous. If you go, please let us know how it was. Reviews say it to be open and groomed properly.
