Right on the doorstep of Leac Na Sith you will find Castle Toward. It has a rich history and the grounds are open to the public. We often walk here with our dogs. Over on the Isle of Bute is one of our favourite coastal walks. It's not too strenuous but you will need strong footwear. It's a safe walk for children and dogs. You can walk as much or as little as you like. There's great views all the way. Rothesay has lots of places to eat. We love Helmi's! Delicious wraps and savouries.

Kilchattan Bay
Over on the Isle of Bute is one of our favourite coastal walks. It's not too strenuous but you will need strong footwear. It's a safe walk for children and dogs. You can walk as much or as little as you like. There's great views all the way. Rothesay has lots of places to eat. We love Helmi's! Delicious wraps and savouries.

An excellent base for some interesting forest walks and only a five minute drive from Leac Na Sith. Climb to the top of the volcano which is visible from the house.

This is a family friendly pub, four miles from Leac Na Sith. They serve good traditional pub grub and the steak pie is our favourite dish. The meat is slow cooked and the pastry is really light. Delicious!
