Here is some of our favorite points to walk to in the nabour-hood. The local hike is 30min walks you can combine them if you want a longer walk or do one each day.
Small Daytrip 1 - (10min car to parking-lot) Highest point with great view over Zürich City and lake of Zürich. You can walk up from parking lot it take 45-60min or walk up to the train station at Ringlikon and take the train up to almost the top at Uetliberg in 5min. There is "Hillz Restaurant" and the larger "Uto Kulm" for a small walk at the top.

Daytrip 3 - (45min by car) My best "value for money trip". Amazing view over blue lake water with large grilling facilities (bring your own coals and sausages) yet close to Zürich. You can hike from this point further up to many different levels. All the way up take 2-3 hours where there is a nice ridge walk.

This is one of the most jawdropping places in Switzerland especially in May-June when all the waterfalls or going at full blast from the winter snow.
It was used as inspiration for the Lord of the Rings movies: Search youtube for "lauterbrunnen lord of the rings"
We recommend renting an ebike at "Imboden Bike" shop in the valley for 4-6hours (~40-60$) to do the loop trip up to Mürren and back down through the waterfall valley. It's 800m uphill so very hard without an e-bike.
We recommend booking an airbnb/hotel in a nabour village since Lauterbrunnen usually is fully booked out and very popular lately.
Close by remarkable places as well:
-Oeschinensee (free but hike), similar jawdropping area.
-Blausee (15-20$), very blue clear water, little touristic but easy to drive to if easy access is important.

Or get inspiration and drive as far as you can yourself. Have in mind many of the highest peaks require a lift pass to bring you up to the top since there are no normal roads up there in the icy steep mountain-tops.
The large mountain trips is a long day so prepare some snacks and water. Maybe start out with the smaller trips if it's your first time.

Remember usually easiest to take trian into City since very little parking there. So you will likely end up finding an expensive parking house 5-10chf/hour.

It's hard to get parking in Zürich center so often it's better to take the train. If you go for a short trip these park houses or usually open. (Typically 6chf for 2 hours and 4chf for every extra hour):

Rent an ebike to go far up the mountains.
You can usually find an ebike rental in most mountain villages. This way you can get much further without running out of energy. The Swiss mountain are big! :)
