Lucha Libre is a must you need to live everytime you visit Mexico City.
Live it the local way. It's a cheap event, but going with a capable guide that can provide you context, rules and grounds makes the experience more completed. It's not just a show that we need to assume as fake. It's deeper than that and funnier when you have all the info you need.
Wear a mask and live it the local way.

Información sobre la ciudad
Mexico City is often a crazy city. There are a bunch of activities to do, places to visit, food to eat. But if you want to live a really different experience around a small town, you may want to know Tepoztlán, Morelos. 1 hour distance from Mexico City, this is one of the closest Pueblos Mágicos (Magic Towns) that you can visit and get back to CDMX in the same day.

Public transportation in Mexico City
Mexico City is well known for having so much traffic almost anytime. There is where Public Transportation can always save the day.
First thing you need to know is that you can buy a card to move yourself or all your group with it. Don't need one for each person. It cost less than a dollar and includes 1 free trip. This card works for subway (Metro) and Metrobus.
Also it's important to know that public transportation owned and operated by Mexico City's government has a FEMALYE-ONLY section. You can know it by the pink color of the seats in Metrobus, or the separated area in subway (Metro).

If you are planning to visit La Casa Azul (House and museum of Frida Kahlo in Coyoacan), you need to book your visit in advance on their website. If you try to just walk-in you will find a large line of people waiting someone doesn't show up to get a ticket. This is a coin flipped in the air.

Save your money in Trajineras de Xochimilco
All the harbors where the Trajineras of Xochimilco gets out are named Embarcaderos and they have different prices. But there is one that is administrated by local government and the prices are fixed. The name you need to visit it's called Embarcadero Nativitas (or Embarcadero Nuevo Nativitas in Google Maps).
On your way to Nativitas don't hear any person that try to tell you that the road is closed. Don't engage with persons on bikes or motorcycles trying to get you to different embarcadero so they can charge you the rate they want. In Nativitas the price is $500 MXN per hour, not per person.
