Camp out in a wild glen, or cycle over the Duke’s Pass. Take picnics of Luss beach in summer, island hop on the day ferries... There's activities for kids, and it's great for dog walkers.

We enjoyed visiting the castle and it's royal palace, followed by exploring the pretty cobbled streets. The town is quite large with places to eat, drink and shop.

Visit Scotland's only submarine centre - situated right in the centre of Helensburgh next door to the cinema. It's the home of the last x craft (miniature submarine) built by the Royal Navy. The centre uses immersive video and audio to provide learning experiences - a great day out for the kids!
