When it comes to castles in Scotland, you're spoilt for choice. I'd recommend picking this one as it's on the outskirts of Stonehaven, another must-visit destination.
Stonehaven is a quaint seaside town with a famous fish and chip shop (The Bay). Enjoy a walk down to the small harbour and soak in the views over a drink and dinner at the Marine Hotel by the water.

Feeling brave? Treat yourself to a cold water plunge in the north sea in between sauna sessions.

Where ever you end up, I'd recommend trying the Balvenie Doublewood, 12 year old 👌
