Shopping

Great Leather bags, jackets and boots! They can measure and make to order if you go early on in your trip and either have it ready for you or mail it to you in the states! I have several jackets and bags and always get compliments and bring them back for gifts!

Transport to and From the Airport in Leon, Queretero or MEX

We always use Bajio Go for shuttle transport to and from the airport, they are long standing and trusted by all in San Miguel you you can book online or call. If you prefer a private driver or car for day trips to Guanajauto or airport etc then I would call Rafa at 52-415-153-5310.

Good Shoes, Sunblock and layers

Sunblock is important as you are at very high altitude and while it always feels brisk the sun is quite intense! Same goes for clothing- it is warm when in the sun, but the temperature drops in the shade and significantly at night. And Shoes- San Miguel is a walking town and mostly cobbles and stones and hilly- good, flat walking shoes are a must! Heels and stilettos are for the very bold and brave! Leather bottomed shoes can be slick as well- consider yourself warned!
