Neighbourhoods
Most people enjoy Broughty Ferry’s town centre and beach area. It’s a 10 minute walk away from Milton Bank apartment and only 2 minutes from Claymore apartment. It has many shops, pubs and restaurants.
Walking route from Milton Bank:
Turn left out the front gate and immediately right down Balmyle Rd.
Turn left onto the main road and then right onto Douglas terrace.
Guests at Claymore can get to the waterfront by turning left out of the front entrance then right down to the end of Church Street. Then turn left at the waterfront.
From this point walk down here keeping the river to your right. (If you had turned right keeping the river to your left this would take you along the cycle/walking route to Dundee centre which is 4 miles).
For now, keep the river to your right and you will pass the Ship Inn pub (worth a stop) and will come to Gray Street on your left. Either turn up there for the main shops etc or continue along the river front past the castle to the beach. Further along the esplanade is a new bar/restaurant called Urban Beach, The Glass pavilion that may also be worth a stop to refuel, enjoy the view before your return visit turning right via Brook Street which will take you through the town centre’s main shops etc. and back towards the two respective apartments.
