Step out onto Park Avenue and turn left, at the end of the street you will find Dunfermline's public park. A lovely park that has a bandstand, skate park and a woodland trail.

Known as 'The Glen' this is a beautiful park with plenty to see and do. Walled Garden, museum, river walks, forest walks, peacocks and a cafe.
Take a right when you come out of the house, cross the road and walk along the street that has Monterey Jack's on the corner. Keep walking until you reach The Abbey and you'll find one of the entrances to The Glen.

Following five years of closure, Abbot House is now undergoing a programme of renovation with plans to reopen in a phased approach. The Gift Shop opened in August 2020, with further renovation now planned for Spring 2021 due to inevitable delays caused by the Covid pandemic.
The Gift Shop is a beautifully curated shop and houses many local makers and artists.
