Whale watching and sardine run
Whale watching is from July through November, even from the viewing deck at Purple Haze Eco Lodge.
The Sardine Run is from Port Elizabeth to Port St Johns, April to June annually is spectacular.

Good tarmac roads up to Chintsa East. For going further into the Wild Coast (Morgan Bay - Port St John's) you'll want a 4x4. Roads can get hairy, specially in rain season.
