Shop the historic Main Street for Antiques, or get a real deal at the popular discount/closeout store, Matthew's Warehouse Deals, (Owned by the hosts of this resort), store is located across from CVS Pharmacy. Another place to visit is the 50 Mile New River Walking & Biking Trail that starts in Galax.

This park is definitely worth the drive, and be sure to take the hike on the Appalachian Trail, where you are almost guaranteed to see the wild horses.
