The catfish on Fridays is excellent! It’s lightly breaded and NOT overcooked. Cole slaw is mildly sweet and fine cut. The French fries are perfection too.

A favorite of locals. A fifth-generation family establishment McClard's Barbecue in Hot Springs is best-known for smoky pork ribs& butts and a thin, tangy sauce. The Ribs & Fries plate consists of a half rack under a pile of potatoes — pull-apart, well smoked ribs that pair well with those handcut fries. The restaurant's famed tamales make a good addition; unlike their Arkansas Delta counterparts, these are filled with beef and pork and steamed in paper rather than corn husks.

Anthony Chapel is a popular wedding venue. The Evans Children’s Adventure Gardens offers 1.5 acres of interactive fun with a waterfall, cave, an iron bridge that resembles woven tree branches and rocks weighing more than 3,200 tons. The annual Holiday Lights display – featuring 5 million lights over 18 acres – draws thousands of visitors each winter.
