Café Felix is a laid back restaurant & guesthouse located in the picturesque town of Riebeek Kasteel. Our blackboard menu changes continuously depending on the type of fresh produce that is available locally. The menu has evolved slowly over time and today the cuisine at Café Felix can be described as French-Italian inspired. An Absolute must if you visit Riebeek Kasteel. Great Shop which sells all Olive related products as well as a small range of Wine.
It has a full tasting room - greatest tasting experience by far. Inspired by his father’s (Attie) ingenuity and visionary farming techniques, Johan Snr saw the potential in the land and it is due to his foresight that the farm went from producing predominantly table and wine grapes in the 1980’s to the wide diversity of produce available today.

Swartland Winery dates back to somewhere between 1696 and 1704, when the governor of the Cape left it to a widow named Cloete. This courageous woman was one of the first settlers who ventured into the inhospitable Swartland region.
