Sightseeing Hiking and Biking
At Greenwaters Park, friendly controlled dogs are allowed off leash on the trail but on leash in the park. If you go to the right you will come to another trail to your left that will loop around back to the bridge. If you continue straight up the trail you will come to LaDuke road. It travels east to west and winds up near Hills Creek.
If you go to the left, you will go on one of the concentric loops that goes back to the bridge.
Go across the bridge at Greenwaters Park. There are three concentric loops.

Covered Bridges
Lane County is the proud owner of 20 covered bridges. If you came from the west, up Highway 58, you passed by the Lowell Bridge built in 1945.
Take a moment to stop and visit the kiosks telling about the history of the area. This is the North Fork of the Willamette.
The Office Bridge in Westfir was built in 1944. You can still travel across this bridge going over the North Fork of the Willamette to get to the site of the old Hines Mill. This is a favorite walking and biking spot of me. There is also a disc golf course at the covered bridge.
