Great bike path from the East end to middle of the Island
The bike trail starts or ends (whichever way you're looking at it), a few doors down from Holiday Isle. You can stay on the trail all the way down to Fort Gaines. Take in the scenery, act like a local when you greet others with a "Hey, how'r y'all doin'?" Southern people are very friendly and consider it strange to pass someone without asking how they're doing. They don't really want the details, so "fine!" will suffice. Be sure to smile!!
Huwag palampasin
Dauphin Island Sea Lab - great fun for the kids.
You can also enter the stingray pool from the side entrance and "pet" the stingrays or just watch them swim around. But you won't regret paying admission to visit the sea lab. It's cheap fun and a good way to spend a rainy day.
