We walked the 3.5miles from the cottage to Long Melford country park to pick up “The Valley Line” walk to Sudbury along the old railway line. The Wagon is dog friendly, had lovely accommodating staff and the roast was fantastic.

Free parking and a little cafe to get a tea or coffee. You can pick up “The Valley Line” walk to Sudbury or a variety of footpath walks. The park had quite a few benches for a picnic.
