A must to do while holidaying in Rainbow Beach

Sightseeing

Diving Wolf Rock is among Australia’s best dives, especially for the shark fans and those who like to see some big species. The two small rocks at the surface near Double Island Point (Rainbow Beach) actually go 30 metres deep and hide a fantastic treasure underwater. Be ready for an adventure!

Double Island Point is about 30km south of the town of Rainbow Beach. On the cliff where the lighthouse stands, you can get one of the best views ever of the ocean. From there, if you are patient enough, you will spot pods of dolphins, turtles, and maybe dugongs, sharks, or whales depending on the season! You will need to have a 4WD to reach Double Island Point.
