Amazing set up for hiking to the grotto, fresh drinking water at the trails start. Hiking Trails are mostly stroller friendly which is not stated anywhere. Greeted by a friendly park staffer, I think she took care of the area personally. Drove by campgrounds, sites are pretty tight together and exposed. Great for camping in groups. Yurts are positioned close together too.

This park has it all no matter if you are new to the outdoors, a day hiker, backpacker, or hardcore back country paddler. Over the years I have spent as much time as possible in the park generally tripping far beyond the crowds of HWY 60. In addition, winter is a magical time in the park and Family Day weekend is a great way to get into winter camping.
Anyone that can visit Algonquin should consider themselves lucky as this is truly a gem that we are fortunate to have!

Wicked trail!!! Lots to see especially around Bond Lake. Beautiful all year round. It's great for a few km walk and mountain bike ride and can easily connect to trails that cover over 10 km of distance from Bathurst to east of Bayview.
