Bunya Mountains highest peak at 1,141m. Lovely view , easy 1 hour walk not too steep, lots of really big Grass Trees. Take a torch to walk back to your car if you go there for sun-downer drinks.

Watch out for falling Bunya Nuts

The size of a soccer ball these giant pine cones weigh up to 8kg and drop off the trees anytime December to March. Try not to park your car under one.
