The best pizza place that I've ever been too, my friends always want to go straight here when they visit, and it's at the end of the road! Make sure you book first because it'a always busy, or they have a separate take away premises just up the road too.

Drinks & Nightlife
Boda is my local, it's right at the end of the road. Inside is really cute and quirky, it reminds me of places that I've been in Amsterdam. The staff are great! I had my first Gin and Tonic with cucumber here, at their request, and I've never looked back!

Woodland creatures is so cool, the decor is great and they always have different art exhibitions on. You can get nice bar food or little nibbles to eat with your drinks. The smoking area is through a big wooden cupboard, like Narnia! It's really laid back, perfect for Leith.

Check out CC Blooms, a short walk from the flat, for it's great late night atmosphere, and regular drag shows. Alice Rabbit presents 'The Rabbit Hole', is my favourite. It's on every Tuesday.

Parks & Nature
The botanics are about 20 minutes walk from my flat, but the walk is mostly along little bike and dog walking trails and is lovely. Only in Edinburgh could you find such a tranquil place so close to the centre of the city. There's a garden shop and restaurant, you can grab a coffee and have a walk around. It's a beautiful piece of nature all year round.

Arboretum PlaceThe botanics are about 20 minutes walk from my flat, but the walk is mostly along little bike and dog walking trails and is lovely. Only in Edinburgh could you find such a tranquil place so close to the centre of the city. There's a garden shop and restaurant, you can grab a coffee and have a walk around. It's a beautiful piece of nature all year round.

It's the most beautiful part of Edinburgh, a park and hiking trail, right in the middle of a city, it stands right next to our Parliament. Take a day to hike up to the top and make the most of the fresh Scottish air, you'll feel invigorated. Plus it's completely free!
