A huge and glorious expanse of sand, Pettycur beach starts off at Pettycur harbour and stretches all the way to Burntisland. At low tide it is possible to walk out to the Black Rock but do check tide times. With wonderful views towards Edinburgh, this clean and unbusy beach is ideal for giving dogs a run and flying a kite and is also popular with kite surfers.
