Location location. View is to die for looking out to the reef islands across the park. Ocean net pool in the park. Spinnaker Park is a really beautiful walk around the created peninsular with harbour on one side and Auckland Inlet/marina on the other side. BBQ facilities are also available in Spinnaker Park. But if you prefer to go for a morning walk and then relax with breakfast and a cappuccino or late... the cafe is the go... or brunch or lunch.

What to Pack?

Gladstone is reasonably warm all year round. In summer tropical temperatures - we are close to the Tropic of Capricorn. Light, cool clothing is advised. Polarised UV protective sunglasses are also a must. Sunscreen. In winter however, there can be a chill in the air at night. A jacket is advised and socks. We are also surrounded by mangrove areas. Bring Bushmans insect repellant. Summer or winter, bring your swimmers. The pool is a great temperature all year round. I will keep pool towels available for you so you don't have to fill your suitcase with wet towels.
